Sound Meccano

Rostislav Rekuta initially issued releases as Neuron Communication (1999-2000) and he produced the Digits Throw album in 2000. Since 2001 he has been working as Sound Meccano and experimenting with electronic, electro-acoustic, and acoustic instrument interferences.

Sound Meccano also hosts a weekly radio show featuring new music on NABA 96.2 FM (in collaboration with DW), collaborates with experimental theatre groups, and works as a DJ. Volokno (Fibre) is a joint project of Evgeniy Droomoff and Sound Meccano, exploring the fibrillar micro-dimensions and co-relations within the sound, vision and the feeling of life.

Track Fibre 1: wool fibre is just the first unit of the conceptual audio-visual entity Volokno, which will be released as specially designed multimedia CD in the beginning of 2005.
