progress ex.04: Festival of Eastern European Electronica

With intention to create an opportunity for Eastern European artists, music activists, independant music labels and collectives to present their work, meet one another and start or intensify artistic collaboration and business co-operation, rx:tx, the electronic music label and agency from Ljubljana is organising a three-day festival of Eastern European electronica.

The festival will feature some of currently most active and referential avant-garde electronic artists from Russia, Latvia, Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia & Montenegro, Macedonia, Croatia and Slovenia. In addition to concerts and live-acts, a workshop and panel and trade-fair presentations of EE labels will be also organized.

The festival will take place from the 24th to the 26th of November at different locations in Ljubljana / Slovenia and will feature:

Wednesday, 24th of Nov.
Workshop "Performative aspects in new electronic music" led by Wojtek Kucharczyk and Deuce of Mik.Musik!, Poland.

Thursday, 25th and
Friday, 26th of Nov.
Live performances of 18 Eastern European electronic music projects.

Friday, 26th of Nov.
Panel debate: "Situation, problems and perspectives of electronica scenes in Eastern Europe"

Friday, 26th of Nov.
Trade-fair presentations of independent labels and distributors from EE countries.
